American Transmission Company (ATC) said May 15 that it has appointed Catherine Heigel as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, effective June 25.
Heigel will be responsible for legal and state regulatory staffs at ATC, the company said in a statement.
Heigel comes to ATC from Duke Energy Corp. (NYSE:DUK), where she was president of Duke Energy South Carolina. She joined Duke Energy in 1997.
